Our Services

The Inclusion Portal is all about making schools a place where every young person, whether they are disabled or not, feels welcome, understood, and valued. Think of it like this: we’re helping students and teachers build empathy, boost well-being, and ditch those outdated stereotypes. We help to develop a better understand of disability  to create learning spaces where everyone’s included, no exceptions.

In England alone, there are 8.9 million children and young people across 24,000 schools. Out of those, 1.5 million need extra support: like wheelchair users, young people with visual or hearing impairments, or learning disabilities. But here’s the twist: only 1,000 schools are specialised settings to actually help them. That leaves tons of kids in mainstream classrooms where, let’s be honest, don't offer them the right environments to thrive.

That’s where we come in. The Inclusion Portal isn’t just a plaster fix, it’s about flipping the script. We’re here to help schools turn “I don’t know how” into “Let’s figure this out together.” Because every child and young person deserves a fair shot, and every teacher deserves the tools to make that happen.

(P.S. Want the nitty-gritty on those 1.5 million young people? Here’s the breakdown: 24,500 have visual impairments, 64,000 use wheelchairs, 43,000 have hearing impairments, and 230,000 have learning disabilities. Big numbers, right? Let’s make sure none of them fall through the cracks.)
